Refund Policy – Ask The Kraken

At Ask The Kraken, we strive to deliver world-class AI services while keeping our billing and refund practices transparent and fair. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing.

 

1. Subscription Payments

When you purchase a subscription with Ask The Kraken (“Subscription”), you agree to the following:

  • Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment providers.
  • You are responsible for keeping your payment details accurate and up to date.
  • All applicable taxes and fees will be included at checkout.

By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor) to charge the payment method you provide for the Subscription plan you select.

 

2. No Refunds Policy

When you subscribe, our system immediately allocates costly computing resources and cloud infrastructure to deliver AI-powered services on your behalf. These resources are reserved and paid for upfront to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service.

Because of this, all subscription payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable, except in the limited circumstances outlined in this policy.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you waive the right to request refunds or dispute charges except where expressly allowed.

 

3. Billing & Renewals

  • Automatic Renewal: Your Subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel beforehand.
  • Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed annually and must be paid in full upfront. Renewal charges will be billed to your payment method at the then-current subscription rate.
  • Active Until Canceled: Your Subscription remains active until you cancel or until Ask The Kraken terminates it under our Terms of Service.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your Subscription at any time via your account’s billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — no partial refunds or credits are provided for unused time.

 

4. Limited Exceptions

Refunds are not generally issued, but we may, at our sole discretion, consider requests in these cases:

  • Billing Errors: If a proven technical error on our end results in an incorrect or duplicate charge, you may request a review. If confirmed, a refund may be issued.

 

5. Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact our support team if you encounter issues with billing or service before filing a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider. Most problems can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

If a chargeback is filed, we will provide documentation including:

  • Proof that you accepted this Refund Policy during checkout.
  • Records of your subscription and use of our Services.
  • Evidence of resources provisioned on your behalf.

Filing a dispute without first contacting us may be considered a violation of this Refund Policy and our Terms of Service.

We may revise this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect business needs, technology changes, or applicable laws. Updates will be communicated via email or notifications within our platform.
